PCFMI x DTI-CPAB Strengthening Partnerships in Action! 🤝
The Philippine Chamber of Food Manufacturers, Inc. (PCFMI) was honored to be invited once again by the Department of Trade and Industry – Consumer Policy and Advocacy Bureau (DTI-CPAB) to participate in the Konsyumer Assembly sa Barangay held on Thursday, July 31 at Kalayaan Village Covered Court, Brgy. 201, Pasay City, in celebration of Nutrition Month.
During the event, the Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist from DTI-CPAB led a session on Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, followed by the Assistant Division Chief, who discussed the salient features of the Consumer Act of the Philippines, Fair Trade Laws, and Complaints Handling. In celebration of Nutrition Month, PCFMI Director, delivered an engaging and insightful talk on Pinggang Pinoy, in support of the National Nutrition Council’s Nutrition Month theme. 🍽️💚
The assembly brought together consumers from the community in a dynamic and impactful session—highlighting the power of collaboration in promoting informed choices and healthier lifestyles—definitely a successful and meaningful day for all! 🙌
