PCFMI Attends FDA Public Consultation on Establishing Online System for Technical Experts
On October 29, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) held a public consultation to present and gather feedback on a proposed Circular aimed at developing and maintaining an online system or digital network of technical experts. This platform seeks to enhance the FDA’s capacity by allowing access to and engagement with professionals who possess specialized knowledge and skills relevant to the various undertakings of the Center for Food Regulation and Research (CFRR).
The PCFMI represented by its Director and member companies, participated in the session and witnessed the productive discussion. The group expressed appreciation for the FDA’s openness to collaborate and include experts from diverse fields, including industry representatives, in this initiative.
This consultation marks another step toward fostering stronger multi-sectoral cooperation in ensuring the safety, quality, and integrity of food products in the Philippines.
