Communications and Public Affairs:

The Communications & Public Affairs Committee has been established to raise the awareness profile of the PCFMI through press releases and public relations.

Main tasks:

• Coordinate and oversee media relations, media advisories and responses for information requests
• Engagement with various stakeholders, government agencies to enhance public recognition, professional status and advocacies of the PCFMI
• Spearhead and administer the chamber’s website
• Keep members abreast of recent developments, industry events, forums, regulatory issues that can impact the food industry  through publications 
• Special projects
